    Description

    Check my other auctions for more dug relics from New Mexico.  This was part of a large collection accumulated by a man (now deceased) who used to metal detect around Fort Craig NM (1854-1888) in the 1950's-1960's.   Probably done by a member of the 2nd Dragoons, who were at Craig in the 1850's. He cut a number "2" out of the large end of a shoulder epaulette. Unusual relic. Dug condition. Neat display item!  Always glad to combine shipping if you win more than one auction.
