    Description

    US Civil War Cannonball...
    Found by named family in the 1880's on the Gettysburg battlefied.
    Solid iron!  Measures 2 1/2" weighs a bit over 2 pounds.
    Has a very small flat area...might be from impact or glancing blow from tree, rock?
    There was a handwritten note found with the ball.   See last photo.
