    Description

    Up for bidding is a lot of three (3) metal submarine models made by Comet.  They are in 1:1200 scale, and are roughly two to three inches long.  The three models are (according to their box labelling, one of which is handwritten):
    German submarine U-2 class
    German U-90 submarine
    U.S. Dolphin class submarine
    These models come with their boxes and were likely made sometime after World War II had ended.  During and after the war, Comet built a line of scale model ships under the trade name "Authenticast."  These were originally U.S. Navy recognition models but were later offered for sale to the public.
