You are bidding on a US 1816 Springfield 69 caliber musket stock with the butt plate.
The stock has been shortened to 46 ¼ inches for its original length of about 54 inches.
It is walnut.
There is a crack to the left of the lock cutout.
The stock has been refinished and sanded at some point in time.
It has two oval cartouches on the left side.
The metal L plate on the left is marked with an S.
The butt plate is marked US.
The stock has both band springs. The stock has dents and scratches.
