    Description

    RARE ANTISEMITIC PAPER MONEY
    GERMANY, 1921
This is one of the most virulently anti-Semitic collectibles from Germany. It is a genuine original currency banknote or bill issued in 1921 just after Germany's defeat in WW1. Germany was undergoing an economic depression partly as a result of onerous reparation payments for which Jewish financiers were blamed. This only exacerbated innate antisemitism dating back to the Middle Ages.
The note is engraved in full color. One side shows the local castle. The other shows 2 images:
    1) On the left a grimacing Jew in a cage is being dunked into the harbor before a chortling crowd. The inscription reads: "Such weasels, strong from grifting, were earlier dunked by the burgher's hand. It would also be practical today for the pushers, connivers and bottom feeders".
    2) On the right a Jew is strapped onto a flat bench. The local jailer, brandishing a whip, rolls up his sleeves. The inscription reads: "To what appears to be an instrument for sitting, the smart judge pedagogically applies a better use"
AU-CU or better and very rare so well preserved. Could be worth 0's in the future. This is genuine original century old antisemitic German paper money.
Reverse may be blue, olive or brown.
