Thank you for choosing Cross&Crown Quilting Co. for all of your quilting needs. I look forward to working with you. How to calculate your quilting cost estimate: Multiply the length of the quilt by the width, in inches. Then multiply that total (square inches) by the cost of the quilting style chosen. Example: Quilt measures 60” by 80”: 60 x 80 = 4800 square inches. Then multiply 4800 square inches x $.02 = .00. This is the average quilting cost for pantograph (edge to edge) patterns. Edge to Edge/All Over: {{detail_product_description}}.02/square inch (Length x Width x {{detail_product_description}}.02) and up, depending on the density. Edge to Edge is quilting the same design from one edge of the quilt to the other. An overall design or pattern crosses borders between blocks, adding strength and durability to the quilt. Custom Quilting: From {{detail_product_description}}.04/square inch (Length x Width x {{detail_product_description}}.04) and up, also depending on the density. Custom Quilting incorporates separate designs into the individual pieces of a quilt, such as blocks, sashings, setting triangles, and borders. This includes stitch in the ditch. Custom Quilting allows you to design something that is not only functional, but also beautiful. Accentuate the individual pieces of the quilt by incorporating customized patterns in blocks, sashings, setting triangles and borders. I can help you design your custom quilt and provide guidance in design selection and placement. Heirloom Quilting ( currently unavailable) From $.06/square inch (Length x Width x {{detail_product_description}}.06) and up. Heirloom Quilting introduces a variety of different background textures to augment your custom quilt. Cross and Crowns Heirloom Quilting services are similar to my custom quilting however this technique offers much more detailed patterns that fill each element in the quilt. Add complexity and depth to your quilt by using background fill techniques such as stippling. Highlight appliqués by stitching around these elements. For best results, remove the borders, cut them to the same length as the center measurement, pin to quilt and re-sew. Step 2 Backing Fabric: Remove all selvage edges; wash backing fabric; seam, if necessary, and iron. Ensure that edges are straight and even all the way around, and that the BACK and BATTING are at least 6 inches wider and longer than the quilt top. piecing fee, per seam, if you need me to do this for you.
