    Description

    Original set of 5 Civil War era playing cards. Poker straight flush hand.  Produced by DeLarue & Co. of London from the late 1850's through the 1960's.  Typical of what soldiers played on their down time, both north and south.  Perfect for a Civil War era "smalls" or gaming display.  The ones you see are the ones you get.  Playing cards at this time did not have numbers on them.  The reverse is sort of a blue plaid pattern.  Minty condition showing only expected yellowing from age.  No rips or tears.  Please judge condition for yourself by the pictures.
