Notgelds from Rotenburg Germany. The 25 and 50 pfennings are from 1920 and the 75 pfenning from 1921.
There is some wear on these notes, a crease on the 50; small nick out of the 75 and discoloration around the edges. What is neat about these notes is how the 1921 image became colored and more elaborate.
Notgelds were produced in Germany during a time of extreme inflation that occurred after World War I. This emergency money was mostly issued by towns which created historical and often colorful collectible images.
The notgelds that I will be listing are authentic from my family who had a store in Germany during that time. Most are in uncirculated sets. Some rare.
