    Description

    Notgelds from Lilienthal. Lot of 6. 2 x 25,,2 x 50 and 2x 75 pfenning. The serial numbers begin with  E, F and H. They are uncirculated and excellent condition. Greenish colored 25 pfenning has a crease in corner. Beautiful colors.
    Notgelds were produced in Germany during a time of extreme inflation that occurred after World War I. This emergency money was mostly issued by towns which created historical and often colorful collectible images.
    The notgelds that I will be listing are authentic from my family who had a store in Germany during that time. Most are in uncirculated sets. Some rare.
