Notgelds from Weilburg, 25 and 50 pfennig. Uncirculated. Some discoloration around edges if you look closely. The 50 pfennig note has a nice raised texture.
Notgelds were produced in Germany during a time of extreme inflation that occurred after World War I. This emergency money was mostly issued by towns which created historical and often colorful collectible images.
The notgelds that I will be listing are authentic from my family who had a store in Germany during that time. Most are in uncirculated sets. Some rare.
