The one horse shoe is rare because it's the largest I've ever seen. Perhaps it was from a large plow horse. Found in upstate New York. Measures 6 3/4 at its widest and 7 inches top to bottom. Still has nails attached. The second one I'm not sure if it's a horse shoe or mule shoe. It was found on the Fredericksburg Battlefield. Measures 4 1/4 at its widest and 5 inches top to bottom. Two very distinctive artifacts. One likely pulled a wagon for either the Army of the Potomac or the Army of Northern Virginia. The other a plow. (I was told by another ebay member that the large one is for a Clydesdale.) (?) You get both.
