    Description

Col. Clark's Grand Triumphant March. Respectfully Dedicated to the 123 Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, by J .T. Wamelink.
Pittsburgh PA: Published by H. T. Knake, Agt. Copyright, 1862, by J .T. Wamelink.
Stamped at bottom of title page: Mayer & Kelly, Sole Agents For H. T. Knake Publications.
    Measures 11 by 14 inches, 3 leaves [6 pages].
Composed by J. T. Wamelink to celebrate an early-Civil War Union victory. Later in his career, Wamelink composed President Lincoln's funeral march.
This appears to be a late printing because the lithograph on the cover has been reworked around the eyes; the ornate background is missing; and there is a star with the number 5 just under the word Volunteers at the bottom of the page.
160-year-old paper has edges chipping, surface soiling, age-toned color, and spine fold has separated into front and back pages. There is a clear liquid stain on the back cover and last page. Sold as is.
