This alternator part number 7802-11-200A-CHROME-W1206-S6 has an output capability of 200 amps and an impressive 90 amps at 800 engine rpm.
Turns on at less than 1000 engine rpm and will operate at idle with no problem.
No problem installation it falls right in place.
No modification to bracket system is required.
HOT ROD HAVEN, JUST HOOK UP THE HOT WIRE TO THE BACK AND LET IT RIDE. THE HOT POST WILL ACCEPT A 8MM / 5/16" TERMINAL CONNECTOR.
This alternator will operate the no charge indicator light in the dash on 63-72 GM cars. Requires Lamp or Ignition hook up.
