Bio-Rad PowerPac 200 Electrophoresis Power Supply
The BioRad PowerPac 200 is a power supply ideal for SDS-PAGE and western blotting. It reaches only 200V but it can withstand up to 2 Amps. This makes this power supply ideal for running and transferring protein resolving gels, such as BioRad's (or other) "mini" gels as well as common DNA electrophoresis (agarose) gels. This power supply can be run at constant voltage (for SDS-PAGE and agarose gels) or at constant current (for western transfers), but it cannot be used for running sequencing gels or any gel requiring voltage above 200V.
Voltage output: Adjustable from 5 to 200 volts in increments of 1 volt.
Current output: Adjustable from 0.01 to 2.00 Amps (2000 mA) in increments of 0.01 A.
Power output: 200 watts (maximum)
Up to four electrophoresis cells can be connected in parallel to the power supply
The PowerPac 200 power supplies offer a number of features, including the following:
