    Description

AIR FRANCE SEAHORSE PIN BROCHE Original Item (in French L'Hippocampe)
Signed piece commissioned by Air France to French Designer/Artist Jean Boggio.
This Air France emblem pin or brooch was first adapted by Air France in the 1930's.
This emblem became world reknowned from the 1943 U.S. movie Casablanca.
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman said their last goodbye in the fog with the seashore emblem
on the Air France DC3 aircraft clearly visible directly behind them.
Air France reintroduced this emblem as a pin to celebrate the arrival of the 21st century and
is still seen on their planes and paraphernalia today. This brooch is a remembrance of the lost
elegance of the past in airline travel. It's beautiful as a display as well as to wear on a shirt, blouse, jacket or coat.
Although from the early 2000's, this item is new, not used, and in its original packaging.
It is signed on the back by designer "Jean Boggio for Air France".
    Dimensions approximately 1 inch x 0.75 inch.
International sales, except Canada unless requested, will be shipped via eBay International Global Shipping service.
