This 1962 Chevrolet Impala is a fun-driving, old-school hot rod with excellent curb appeal. The Impala was Chevy's top offering in 1962 and featured more plush standard options including bright aluminum front seat end panels and longer front and rear armrests. The nose and tail also got a bit of a facelift with updated grilles in the front and a more modern rear end look in the rear. This particular '62 Impala comes to us from North Carolina where it spent the past 15+ years. Under the hood on this Impala is an upgraded 348 Cubic Inch V8 with a Tri-Power (3 freshly-rebuilt 2-Barrel Carburetors) setup that runs great and harkens back to that golden era of hot rodders. The 348 TriPower V8 is hooked up a 4 speed manual transmission that, with its floor-mounted shifter, makes this classic Chevy a super fun car to take for a cruise. Dual exhaust gives this imposing Chevrolet a nice throaty sound. The engine compartment and carpeted trunk have both been freshly detailed, with the trunk featuring brand new carpet. This Impala 2 Door Hardtop sits on 4 American Racing Torq Thrust Wheels wrapped with blackwall radial tires. The exterior of this '62 Chevy has been refinished in beautiful Tuxedo Black paint with a red accent stripe from nose to tail. The interior on this Chevrolet Impala is gorgeous. The front and rear bench seats have been recovered in red vinyl with red/black cloth inserts and they are in fantastic condition. The interior trim, door panels, steering wheel and dash all present particularly well and they are in their stock configuration. The dash is equipped with a 120 MPH speedometer, fuel gauge, clock, a temperature warning light, and AM radio. Come and take a look at this 1962 Chevrolet Impala since it won't last long here at Ellingson Motorcars in Rogers, Minnesota. Give us a call today!
