1950's era Burlington Route Dude Ranch Brochure. This promotional publication was a tourism guide to all the Western Dude Ranches in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana that were reachable by the Burlington Route train system. Intended to lure eastern travelers out west using the train, this 16 page booklet included many black and white photographs of charming western scenes with cowboys. There are lists of the ranches with detailed information on each ranch enabling comparison of amenities and rates. Maps of the three states are also included.
This copy is clean and unmarked. *** But the text block is detached from the covers with staples rusted out. The text block is intact, not loose, and it is complete. Covers have some edge wear from storage. No date is printed but clues point to about 1950.
