1941 Royal Doulton Union Jack English Bulldog (Rare condition)

Here is a rare and special piece of history. Royal Doulton Churchill's Bulldog with the Union Jack blanket on his back. This figure was made at the start of WW2 as a patriotic symbol and issued for just one year. This wonderful bull dog is hard to find and this one has all the right hallmarks . The number 14 next to the logo indicates the year it was produced in 1941. Another noteable feature that sets this particular piece apart from others is it also includes the artist initial. Artists marks are a rare find with these pieces. This design was created by Charles Noke. These early pieces have become highly collectible and hard to find. Particularly hard to find is on in such excellent condition with no cracks, chips or even crazing. See photos for details. Made famous in the James Bond movies Skyfall and Spectre, this vintage piece was made In 1941. Measures 3.25” long, 2” wide and 2.25” tall.
